Impala Sanctuary

The Sanctuary is 0.4 km2 of marsh, grassland and forest. It was created to give a home for this herd of Impala. However, it developed into a home for captured problem animals. Today, it is a grazing for Hippos and an environment for numerous small mammals, and a lot of reptiles and birds. It also has two leopards, one spotted hyena, two olive baboons and many vervet monkeys held in captivity. Also, the reclusive and acutely threatened Sitatunga has also been seen.

Other activities in the sanctuary are walking and bird watching.
