LOSAI NATIONAL RESERVE

Located in the Isiolo town of north Kenya, Losai National Reserve covers an area of 1806 km2.It is a wilderness semi-desert landscape characterized by rocky hills, open plains and riverine woodlands set amidst a wild and semi-desert background. The climate is hot and dry.

There are a variety of species found in this reserve and these include; elephants, Greater and Lesser Kudus, Gerenuks and Grants Gazelles. Among the insects and reptiles, there are pythons, cobras, lizards, grasshoppers, beetles and scorpions.
Other attractions in the reserve are; the Scenic wilderness landscape and rocky hills.
